Writing and Lust: Bringing Your Inner Passion to the Page

Lust is one of the most natural human feelings, expressing itself as a sense of wonder that feeds the soul, as a physical craving for another person, or as a desire to pursue creative endeavors. A unique event where individuals speak about how this celebrated writer and diarist inspired them, either as a friend or through her writings. In addition to her published journals spanning 60 years, Nin wrote novels, essays, critical studies and erotica. She was deeply interested in psychology and was a frequent lecturer at many universities. Her original diaries are stored in the UCLA Library. In 1976 she was awarded the Los Angeles Woman of the Year Award. Nin died at the age of 74 in 1977.
